Does it attract attention?
  Do you think visitors remember your site? Does it have something that they will remember or that gets attention? If they don't bookmark your site, what will get them back to your site? You should give your visitor at least something to remember so that they can find their way back to your site. Write down your ideas for something that will be remembered about your site.
Competitive Analysis
  What can you learn from your competitors? Get ideas about the latest web design, technology and communication concepts by looking analytically at competitor sites. Usability Testing
 

Have as many people test your site as possible and try to take careful note of how they interact with the site. A well-designed site will allow the visitor to find what they're looking for easily and quickly. Just remember, under most normal circumstances, you won't get the opportunity to tell a visitor where to click to find what they're looking for.

Trust & Security
  What will make your visitor trust you? Imagine going into an automobile repair shop or Dentist's office. What is it that gives you a sense of trust that your car or teeth will be repaired correctly? Well-written content adds to your credibility. Testimonials by reputable associates or companies are perhaps the best way to establish creditability. A list of previous customers is helpful. Interactivity
