Ranking
highly with the search engines will bring in a significant
amount of traffic to your web site. Search
engines are the option of choice for web searchers
looking for new content. No Web marketing &
promotion campaign is complete without a site submission
package to get listed in the search engines and
help bring qualified vistors to your site. Granite
offers two (2) types of site submission packages
for clients to choose from:
Basic
Site Submission Package - for Web site owners
looking to perform their submission for the first
time, but this package will only perform the submissions
once.
Advanced
Site Submission - is for Web site owners looking
to perform their submissions every month to track
their results and maintain a strong ranking.

Not
sure which submission package is right for you? |

A
site submission package is used to get your Web
site listed in the search engines and directories
found all over the Internet. The Web has grown so
large that no single engine or directory can find
all the Web sites and Web pages without some help
from the Web site owners themselves. This can be
done through manual (meaning that you must
actually visit the respective site of the engine
or directory and fill out a form with all the requested
information necessary) submission and automatic
(meaning that you can use a software program to
provide the respective engine or directory with
all the requested information necessary) submission.
We offer two types of packages to help you achieve
a listing in the major search engines and directories. |

Some
inside sources claim that Yahoo! only accepts about
5 percent of all sites submitted to their directory.
So when you submit your site to Yahoo! you want
to make sure you do everything right the first time.
They don't look kindly on those who don't do their
homework first.

On
June 26, 2001, AltaVista rolled out its new "Express
Inclusion" program, the first spidering search
engine to launch a paid program. The new program
guarantees inclusion in the AltaVista index and
weekly refreshes.

Inktomi
has three self-serve paid inclusion partners: Network
Solutions, US-based Position Technologies, and Europe-based
WebGravity. All offer the same basic service: inclusion
of submitted URLs into the Inktomi Web index within
two days and revisiting those URLs on a weekly basis,
for up to a year.

LookSmart
is well known for changing descriptions upon submission,
and with few exceptions, their descriptions don't
benefit Web site owners in the least. With their
"pay to change" service, it appears that
you can now pay to have your description changed
back to the way you submitted it in the first place.
