1. Click Publish from the DrumBeat menu bar.
2. Click Production from the DrumBeat menu bar.
3. Highlight Production and click once. This sets your publish settings to point towards a remote (Production) server.
4. Click Publish from the DrumBeat menu bar.
5. Click Publish Settings from the DrumBeat menu bar.
6. Select Publish to a Remote Directory
7. Refer to the e-mail you received from Granite to review the following information. This information is required to publish your site to the web space.
- Server IP Address - Your FTP domain name*, for example: ftp.granitewebdesign.com
- Username - Your administrator user name.
- Password - Your administrator password.
- Type your IP Address in the Remote ASP Server Name input box. Leave the Remote Destination Directory blank.
8. This will publish to the root directory of your site (the highest level).
9. Click the Options tab and verify the following are checked as indicated below:
- Notify Errors on Occurrence
- Use JavaScript
- Publish Script to Include Files
10. Click the Media Tab and select the same folder "media" for all file type directories:
11. Click the ASP Tab make sure that the Alias is blank for this run through.
12. Click OK. You are now ready to publish to your server. Make sure you have an open connection to the Internet.
13. Click Publish on the Menu bar
14. Select All Pages
15. Type your Username and Password.
16. Click OK.
17. Publishing will begin and a status bar will display in the lower left of the DrumBeat 2000 window.
18. When Publishing is finished, click on Publish Browse with and highlight the browser you would like to use. A browser window will open with the address of your site. - Updated: March 1, 2002
