To ship items and add shipment tracking numbers to an order in CS-Cart, do the following:

  1. Login to the Admin area
  2. Go to Orders --> View Orders.
  3. Search or browse for the desired order.
  4. Click on the order ID or the "View" link for that order.
  5. On the "Viewing order" screen, in the "Shipping information" section, click on the "New shipment" link.
  6. In the "New shipment" window, select the quantity of the items from the order that will be included with the shipment. On this screen, you can also enter the Shipping method, Tracking number, Shipping carrier and Comments for the shipment. Select the order status change, if any. For example, if you have items that are on backorder, you may wish to set the status to Backordered. To notify the customer of the shipment (shipped items, quantities, shipping carrier and tracking details), select the "Send shipment notification to customer" checkbox.
  7. Click Create.
